Mr. Elgavish

Mr. Elgavish is a lecturer at LOGTEL having more than 25 years of extensive Hi-Tech experience working with worldwide telecom vendors, Operators and customers. Mr. Elgavish brings with him both technological as well as business deep knowledge in the fields of Communications in general, Web services (including Cloud Computing) and Medical Information and Devices.
Mr. Elgavish is currently the Owner and GM of GaT-Tech, providing consultancy and project management services to Israeli companies.
Yuval served also as VP Product & BD in VoyantHealth providing SW medical solutions and as a VP R&D in both NomadAccess that developed cellular networks simulation tools and in IP-Planet. Mr. Elgavish also held various senior management positions at Nexus, TTI, ATL and N.C.T.
Mr. Elgavish graduated the IDF academy of computer sciences (MAMRAM) and the Tel Aviv University School of Business Administration (Lahav program) and holds a B.Sc. in Computer Sciences from Bar-Ilan University.

Mr. Elgavish is specializing in LTE, UMTS/HSPA and 2G cellular radio technologies as well as in cellular networks architecture and services. Mr. Elgavish has been lecturing, consulting and working, for many years, with Israeli as well as worldwide telecom vendors, Operators and customers.
Mr. Elgavish is currently the Owner and GM of GaT-Tech, providing consultancy and project management services to Israeli companies.

The lecturer: Eyal Tomer

Mr. Eyal Tomer is senior lecturer at Logtel, Israel for the last 9 years.

Eyal Tomer has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunication technology, particularly in Telephony and VoIP. 
Eyal Tomer is the founder of ICVision and provides outsourcing services as the CTO to Gama Operations (which is specialized in the Cyber area, Encryption and security of telecommunication).
Between the years 2007 and 2012 Eyal worked at Tadiran Telecom as the Product Manager of advanced Softswitch and VoIP innovative solutions. Prior to Tadiran Telecom, Eyal worked at Lucent as a project manager and was the leader of the Integration team for a Cable telephony project in Israel.
Prior to Lucent, Eyal worked at Arelnet, which was later acquired by Airspan (which is specialized in the WiMax technology). At Arelnet, Eyal was responsible for the Product Management activities and for designing the new VoIP product line.
During his work at Arelnet, Eyal cooperated with Intel, implementing a Carrier-Grade VoIP project including SS7 infrastructure.
Before this, Eyal was the Product Department Manager of RADCOM Ltd., one of the leaders of advanced VoIP test-solutions. 
Eyal also served for 9 years as part of the R&D team at Telrad Networks Ltd.  
Mr. Tomer holds a B.Sc. degree in Electronics and Communications from Tel-Aviv University, Israel

Dr. Azriel Heuman

Logtel, Israel

Dr. Azriel Heuman heads the M.Sc. program in Telecommunications Systems Engineering at the Jerusalem College of Technology (a.k.a. Machon Lev). Since coming to Israel in 1986 from the ISDN Lab at Bell Laboratories, Dr. Heuman held a number of key positions in Israel’s telecom industry. He was the technical expert in ECI’s Optical Marketing Department, and prior to ECI he was the lead System Engineer for Telrad Telecommunications’ Optical Transport Division. Dr. Heuman co-authored the Israel Standard Institute’s ISDN protocol standards. Throughout his career, his expertise was always focused on the evolution of the communications network and has been sharing his communications expertise with Israel’s high-tech industry for more than a decade as a Senior Lecturer at Logtel. Dr. Heuman has his PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Brooklyn Polytechnic University.

 

Mr. Eli Greenberg

Logtel, Israel

Mr. Eli Greenberg is a senior lecturer at Logtel. Mr. Greenberg has worked in Hi Tech companies for 25 years including Telrad [expand title=" .... Read More"] (17 years), Gilat, and I.T.S. He has worked with a wide range of technologies including terrestrial communications, satellite communications, Wireless local loop, cellular communications, and other technologies.
Mr. Greenberg has developed and defends private switchboards, end user devices, testing and diagnostic devices, and has managerial experience as validation team head, project leader, and products line manager.
His work has involved product support and customer training in Israel and overseas, field testing and diagnostics, government certification, and product marketing.
Mr. Greenberg holds a BSCTE engineering degree from Holon College and is a graduate of the Tel Aviv University Senior Business Administrator program.[/expand]

Dr. Dror Fixler

Logtel, Israel

Dr. Dror Fixler is a senior lecturer at Logtel. His major fields of interest are monitoring and intrusive systems for telephony  networks, applications for cellular technologies such as GSM, CDMA, GPRS and UMTS, new fixed-telephone networks based on internet protocols like H323 and SIP and  high-end electro-optical system engineering and optical super-resolution. He has published over 15 papers and holds 5 issued patents. Currently he also works as a senior lecturer and researcher at Bar-Ilan University School of Engineering and serves as CTO of MoniTel A.N. Technologies. Dror Fixler received his Ph.D degrees in physics from Bar-Ilan University, Israel, in 2003.

Yossi Cohen

Mr. Yossi Cohen is a senior lecturer at Logtel, Israel

He is the founder and CEO of DSP-IP, a video consulting and development company. He provides consulting services on business models for Web 2.0 companies and new technological directions for communication companies.
Mr.Cohen lectures on video coding and distribution on mobile, web and IPTV platforms at LOGTEL.
As DSP-IP CEO Mr. Cohen advised and lectured at firms such as NDS, Nokia-Siemens Networks, ECI, Audio Codes and more. Prior to DSP-IP Mr. Cohen worked at Intel and inside the military’s Air Force unit.
He holds both an MBA and a Computer Engineering Degree from the Technion.

Mr.Leon Bruckman

Mr.Leon Bruckman is a senior lecturer at Logtel. Simultaneously Mr. Bruckman is the VP System Engineering in IP Light. He has over 27 years of experience as an R&D manager and System Engineer in the telecommunications field. Prior to joining IP Light Mr. Bruckman was the CTO of Corrigent Systems, worked for Tadiran Telecommunications were his last position was of Director R&D for the Access division, and for HyNEX were he managed the R&D and the System Engineering groups. Mr. Bruckman is an expert in defining and developing Data and Voice transport systems and has vast experience in Hardware and Software development processes. Mr. Bruckman holds a BSc cum laude from the Technion Institute in Haifa and an MBA cum laude from the Bar-Ilan University in Ramat-Gan. He also holds over 20 patents in the telecom area and participated in various standard bodies.

Beny Haddad

Technology leader with global experience in Information & Communication Technology (ICT),

He has been in several key Architectural, Managerial, and CTO positions. 
With more than 17 years’ experience in innovating and developing new technologies, he focused primarily on Network Policy Control, Network Management, NFV/SDN, Mobile and Broadband Networks.
He held technical and management leadership positions at FeelStream, Sandvine, Comverse, Com21, TTI Telecom (now Teoco).
In his last role at Sandvine, he performs strategic architectural planning focusing on LTE networks, PCRF technologies and Network Function Virtualization.
He served as Sandvine delegate to industry standards organizations (e.g. 3gpp, CableLabs.)

Mr. Ami Orren

Lecturer at Logtel, Israel

He has more than 40 years experience in the world of RF and Communications Systems – both in management and hands-on. His experience also includes the use of real time hardware supported by embedded circuitry and DSP.
Mr. Orren owns a small consultancy business located in Tel Aviv Israel. He has been responsible to developing, managing and implementing a large number of military and civil projects, both locally and internationally for IDF, ELISRA, ELTA, PELEPHONE and their customers.
Mr. Orren holds BSC and MSC in Electronics from the Technion Institute of Technology in Haifa Israel.

Mr. Abraham Goldfrid

Logtel, Israel

Mr. Abraham Goldfrid is a senior lecturer at LOGTEL and has an experience of over 25 years on the computers and data communications fields. He started at IBM as a Systems Engineer, and after that he joined Hewlett Packard for their HP3000 series. During the mid 80s, he became a Network Consultant as part of HP’s European Network Consultants Group. In 1992 he joined Logtel Computer Communications, moved to South America, opened and managed Logtel’s offices in Chile and Argentina. He developed and conducted several courses on different communication areas, such as: TCP/IP, ATM, VoIP and others. Currently he works as a consultant and instructor, and his main customers are different PTTs such as Spanish Telefonica, France Telecom, Bellsouth, as well as equipment providers such as: Motorola, Ericsson, Nokia and Alcatel. His courses and seminars were conducted in Israel, USA, Asia, Europe and all over the world. He is also a part time teacher of the School of Electrical Engineering at the University of Chile. Mr. Abraham Goldfrid holds a MSc. degree on Electronic Engineering.

Mr. Ofer Kelman

Logtel, Israel

Mr. Ofer Kelman is a senior lecturer at Logtel and has over 20 years of experience with data communication field. He led numberless multidiscipline teams of many projects to successfully completing implementation and integration of data communication products.
Mr. Kelman served as an active member of the IEEE 802.16 working group since 2000, and of the WiMAX forum technical working group right after it was formed.
Mr. Kelman served in senior technical position with IAI, BVR, RDC, Marconi, Airspan and Pointer Telocation. He developed expertise of IP networking in general and wireless access in particular. This expertise runs from the Radio layer, through PHY and MAC to the Networking layer.
Mr. Kelman holds Bsc degree from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Dr. Philippe Klein

Logtel, Israel

Dr. Philippe Klein is lecturing at Logtel for the last 6 years and has more than 20 years of technical experience. 
Dr Klein worked as the Chief Scientist and Technical Director in several high-tech networking companies, and as consultant with several startup companies in Israel and the United States. He served in senior technical positions at Vocaltec and Digital Equipment Corporation Semiconductors where he developed high performance software and firmware for communication devices. Dr Klein co-authored seven patents for network devices, messaging and network communications. He was a member of the data acquisition team of a particle's physics experiment at the European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva and holds a Doctorate in Nuclear Instrumentation from the Louis Pasteur University, France.

Mr. Samuel Dratwa

Logtel, Israel

Mr. Samuel Dratwa is a senior lecturer at Logtel and a telecom service-creation specialist. During the last 4 years he has been consulting operators and vendors on how to implement a “teleco service-creation environment” (SCE) and how to deliver (rapidly, efficiently and diversely) new services.
Mr. Dratwa has served the telecom industry throughout the past 25 years in Amdocs, Bezeq, At&t and currently in Dialogic. He holds experience in almost every part of the market: operators, vendors (OSS, BSS and infrastructure) and integrators.
His background working for operators includes an extensive practical experience as he served various departments such as: engineering, marketing, IT and management.
Mr. Dratwa holds a Bs.c. in mechanical engineering from the Technion and a Bs.c in mathematics from the Open University.
